A yearbook is so much more than just photographs collected during the year. A good yearbook is a collection of photographs that show what happened during the year, but do so in an artistic way. Yearbooks are all about design, organization, quality photography, and journalistic writing. A yearbook is something that people cherish and will keep for years and years to come - looking back on them from time to time.

This course will expose students to design, color, and layout theory, as well as content organization. There will be a heavy focus on photography - from the basic rules to creating artistic shots and an emphasis on journalistic writing. This course will complement our learning in class and give you access to resources that you will rely on throughout our journey together toward making the best yearbook our school has ever seen!
