Planning 12 is an elective course recognized by the BC Ministry of Education as a 4 credit course offered only to those students in British Columbia who have opted to pursue an Adult Dogwood Diploma.

Planning 12, introduced in December, 2011, is designed to replace the CAPPA 12 course which is currently being phased out by the ministry. Planning 12, much like Planning 10, is designed to get students thinking and preparing for their transition from high school to the world of work or post secondary education. The four primary components of Planning 12 are: Graduation Program, Education and Career, Healthy Living, Finances. In addition, students who never completed the Work Safe Certification via Planning 10, will be able to do so in Planning 12.
